This church has folded already. It is the second sex scandal to hit in the last several years, and they decided they just couldn’t survive another hit, this one far worse than the first. This church has done a lot of good in our community, but they’re going to have to regroup and re-emerge in another configuration, hopefully with better accountability structures. Double pity because their parent/planting church has never had scandal attached to it. They are a CMA affiliate, and the denom has had it’s share of problems in the previous decade as well.
