The Catholic meditation and prayer app, Hallow, is offering users a chance to pray with the cast of the popular series The Chosen.
The app’s offering includes having actor Jonathan Roumie, who plays the role of Jesus Christ in the series, read aloud passages from both the Old and the New Testaments as part of an Advent meditation. Many of Roumie’s co-stars from the seriesĀ have joined him with the readings.
The Chosen has made history by being the biggest streaming Christian series with more than 400 million global views. The third season of the series is scheduled to release this holiday season.

According to ChurchLeaders.com, the actors participating in the challenge include George Harrison Xanthis (John the Evangelist), Elizabeth Tabish (Mary Magdalene), Paras Patel (Matthew), David Amito (John the Baptist) and Vanessa Benavente (Mary, the Mother of Jesus).
